5 Weeks 4 Days Pregnant- Stomach Muscle Pains

Hi

We recently discovered our 2nd IVF cycle worked and i am now 5 weeks 4 days pregnant following our BETA test.

Is anyone else finding that there getting almost like musle ache in there stomach area from under ribs to groin and side, feels like my stomachs been stretched from too many sit ups and crunches and i havent been near a gym for months!

Thanks for any advice, our first scan is booked for 10 days time : ) xx

On our test day and two days later I had such intense ache lower down in my abdomen/pelvis and it was on and off but mostly on for an hour or so each time. Since then I’ve had short bursts of ache not lasting long but it is that feeling as though your muscles have worked incredibly hard and I can’t say I have done any exercise 😅 it scared me at first but more relaxed with it now just keep telling myself it’s not crampy it’s achey so hopefully just everything moving, relaxing and stretching! I’m 5weeks 5 days today too so I think we’re exactly the same. Have my first scan next week Wednesday at 6+2! Good luck x

Hi J086 I’m 15 weeks pregnant now but I certainly had lots of aches and pulls and stretching sensations. Mine tended to be lower left or lower right sides of abdomen, all perfectly normal and to do with uterus growing and everything moving around to make room for it. I’ve also had period type cramps on and off for short periods of time, so for me that’s been normal too. Best of luck at your scan and I’m sure everything is just fine xx
