Sorry I’m getting a bit needy and paranoid now with my questions 🤦♀️ So my test day is this Friday. Transfer was last Monday. I am having pains in my lower abdomen. I’m proper bloated. You know when you’ve exercised or done lots of push ups and it feels really strained? That’s what it feels like. It’s uncomfortable when I walk downstairs and go over speed bumps in the car. TMI but I’ve also not really properly gone to the loo either since. I mean, I have but it’s quite minimal. Is this normal? Has this ever happened to anyone else? I am also taking cylogest pessaries 400mg in morning and evening, would that be the cause? Friday can’t come quirk enough 🥺😩 xx

I think constipation is normal with elevated progesterone- I was previously recommended to take fybrogel. But if you’re worried I would contact the clinic - they should support you with these understandable types of queries x
Progesterone definitely causes constipation! My acupuncturist says it's because it causes heat in the body which dries everything out (stools included) which then causes the constipation. When I'm taking progesterone the only thing that works for me is a cocktail of beetroot juice and prune juice every morning. And lots of water throughout the day. It's not an immediate fix (for me at least) but after a day or two I'm much improved xx
Hi RachelGen. Exercise but not too much. Do your bewst to avoid constipation. Try some Fibogel if you do, or speak to your GP. Drinks lots of water, which should help too. Good luck! Diane
