Hello first time I have done ivf we had our egg transfer on Saturday 14th august with a five day blastocyst my test say positive which is amazing but only 1-2weeks is that right? I feel it should be further along sorry to bother you all and trigger anyone if I have it's just I've had 2 miscarriages and 4 chemicals so just always preparing myself for the worst

So I think that means you're 7 days post transfer? A lot of women on here seem to only get positives later than that so it's a good thing. I also had chemicals so was worried about the digital weeks and what they meant; from the clear blue leaflet it says HCG10-153 = 1-2 weeks, 154- 2752= 2-3 weeks, and 2753+=3 weeks +. I've heard that they can be inaccurate though and cause a lot of stress. I got 2-3 this time at 8dp5dt and my HCG was 160 so it was accurate for me but also that was so much stronger than my previous two which at 14dpt were still at 1-2wks (which may also be fine, it's just those ended soon after).

I don't think there's anything to be concerned about but maybe get your HCG checked if you're worried? That seems to be the only reliable way to know what's going on.

Best wishes 🍀

Thankyou so much for your reply :) I believe I'm 13dpo as the egg was fertilised on the 9th and put back in me on the 14th so would be two weeks on Monday 23rd august I believe but I could be wrong this is my first ivf cycle xx

No, thats perfect and exactly where you should be - congratulations x

Aww Thankyou I'm so bloody nervous after 4 chemicals and 2 miscarriages you would think I'd know all this but this is my first ivf cycle so completely unsure about it all

I get confused with the days past ovulation versus days past transfer. I've tended to use the latter as I can remember it more easily :) The dates that I posted were days past transfer, I had my transfer on Tues 10th Aug with a 5 day blastocyst so a few days ahead of you, and today would be 11dpt for me and I *think* 7dpt for you. X

How's its going for you hun? Gosh I wish I'd bloody waited for the blood test mines not till Tuesday. I couldn't help myself though why do we do it to ourselves. I had a little rusty blood on Thursday so praying that was implantation and now embryo is nestling in x yeah so we had the embryo put back into me Saturday 14th august so the 1-2 week on the clear blue is ok for now I think I've been counting the Saturday as day one so today I've classed as 8dpt but think your right
