Going for first scan today at 6 weeks, not optimistic

This all feels a little cruel to me since my HCG seems to have plateaued around just 300, so I can't possibly expect to be able to see anything today. But the HCG is not going down, so we have to see what is happening. I had both Fallopian tubes removed due to hydrosalpinx but apparently they can't rule out an ectopic.

The stupid thing is that it is hard not to hope for some kind of miracle even though it seems impossible for there to be one.

I'd say hold onto that bit of hope for now, if you can Lux. let's be honest, it doesn't come to most of us very often 😪 Hopefully today at least you will get a clear idea of what is happening, and you won't be living this limbo life (which must be so hard... trying to maintain hope but never hope too much!). I know the consultant is concerned but for what it's worth, I'm really hoping the fact it's still rising means things might progress somehow for you both xx
