3 day spotting.

Does anyone know why I would be spotting 3 days before my period, occasional cramps but nothing much but been Sunday night, Monday, Tuesday just light pink, my period is due tomorrow, cycle day 29. Took a pregnancy test today, negative. Thanks

Hi lovely, I often spot a few days before my period. I have a short luteal phase and my progesterone drops off quite quickly after ovulation. This causes the spotting for me. Could be something like that xx

Like Millbanks I do too, it only started after IVF rounds 🤷🏼‍♀️ I mentioned it to doctors and they weren’t stressed about it. Ruddy irritating though! One month I spotted for 7 days before I finally bled! x

Hi Cheeky. May be that you have developed a slight short luteal phase and your womb lining is not building up early enough. If it continues, then speak with your GP who may be able to help. Good luck! Diane
