Hope. Bleeding. Uncertainty. Rainbows?

This is a very sensitive update. Thank you for all your support following my haemorrhaging/hospital trip Friday night. Where I was examined internally, had clots removed, ruined two beds, was told I had almost certainly miscarried. However they told me they didn’t scan outside office hours so I went back yesterday….four days later…. “That’s just bloody amazing,” the nurse said out loud as she studied the screen during my ultrasound today. “Life finds a way,” she says again, turning it to me. They are ok. This is, as she says amazing. I’m guessing no one who read my hospital notes from Friday would expect this. BUT there is blood in my uterus and we don’t know where it’s coming from. I’m still bleeding now and it’s worrying. I’m very grateful and frightened at the same time. I am very aware this is a triggering matter so I will refrain from posting too much emotional detail until things have progressed and I know with more certainty which way this will go . However, I am upset that the hospital let me believe I had miscarried without confirmation or a scan. If you find yourself in this position please push for further answers and confirmation. I mean I still don’t know what’s going on, but I’m in a better place than I was at the weekend. Thank you again for your kind words. Thank you especially to everyone who reached out and told me their similar experiences. ❤️ love to you all ❤️

Omg what a rollercoaster you have been on. I’m so sorry that you had to go through the emotional turmoil that you had miscarried but I am SO pleased that those babies are still fighting in there. I hope this continues for you! Xx

Oh wow!! You poor thing - what an absolute nightmare for you. I'm so sorry you're going through this but you are being so strong. I guess you have to take it one day at a time, but each day is a step closer. Wishing you all the best for the next step xxx

Oh wow that is wonderful. I am so cross the hospital confirmed a miscarriage without proof. My local hospital have an emergency mobile scanner they use out if hours ( I know as I asked for a third opinion on my late daughter) I can't believe they put you through that. I had a private scan a few months ago and was told I'd lost the pregnancy when I hadn't - I did go into to lose the pregnancy but at that point I was still pregnant. I advise people now if they have worries over a early pregnancy go to EPU for a proper diagnosis. these private clinics may as well not offer early pregnancy scans.. point is they don't always get it right. Rest up as much as possible hopefully this will resolve itself. Also I've heard it's more common to bled more with a twin pregnancy. Xx

Keep hope lovely you are doing so good under these circumstances. One hour at a time. Every minute they in you means you are progress ❤️

Wow Mary!! I'm so happy for you. I cycled with a lady who had bleeding at the same time as me and she said it was like a murder scene, my bleeding wasnt bad. Well she went on to have her baby and sadly it was over for me so it can happen. More bleeding is actually more common in twin pregnancies and subchorionic haematomas are common with IVF too. Best of luck, hope the bleeding settles soon.xx

O my goodness! So sorry you've been through this emotional turmoil. Terrible that the hospital didn't scan to confirm anything and let u assume you had miscarried. however, you need to concentrate on you mental and physical health and those two fighting babes Fingers crossed for a smooth pregnancy from now on. Xxx

Sorry to hear that you went through that but also glad the babies are ok. You said they so assume twins. I had the same experience but when i went to the hospital Friday morning they scan me and told me my babies where ok along with doing a cervix check. No one knew where the blood was coming from but since my last update I found out one of my placenta is laying low which can cause bleeding. Good luck
