An embryo made it to Day 5 after all 🥰

After being 💯% certain our 2 cell and 6 cell embryos at Day 3 wouldn't make it to Day5, I was genuinely amazed yesterday to arrive at the clinic and find there was something to transfer! 🙊 My appointment was first thing so I'd figured the clinic wouldn't have had time to ring and give me bad news. Walked in expecting to walk straight out... The 2-cell didn't make it, not surprisingly, but the other developed to a 4AB blastocyst which we were just over the moon about 🎉🎉🎉 We are so lucky to have a chance, after a pretty disappointing cycle. It means so much to know we made this little embryo together💜 (my history is quite messy 🤦‍♀️). No idea how we'll fare until OTD on the 30th, but I'm so very grateful to have this shot xx

Wow what a week you've had! Just to say I'm so happy you had a embryo to transfer and that you get a chance to try using your husband's sperm (just read your back story and huge amount of respect for you and your journey 🙌)I'm on the 2ww too and OTD is the 29th so feel free to message as we both slowly go insane over the next week or so. Thank you! This is the last embryo with my eggs so really hoping this is the one. So far not doing too badly, swimming and walks with my Mum have helped and determined not to freak out as soon as I get a cramp or spotting...but know I probably will!

4AB is fantastic quality. You have a really good chance. My little boy was a 5AB and he is now almost 2 years old. I am pregnant with a 3bb this time which i was preparing myself that it probably wouldn't take! i am now 19 weeks. Wishing you all the luck in the world. Will be thinking of you on OTD 30th x x
