Third cycle .. only 1 mature follicle proceeded to EC .. was prepared for everything but wasn't prepared to be told the follicle was empty .. at a loss as to how to proceed or how to pick myself back up xxx

Hiletro. So, so sorry to hear this. I would have thought they would have abandoned the cycle due to the poor response. I suppose it will mean going back to the drawing board to schedule your next cyc le differently. I do hope you've got plenty of support just now. Thinkinking of you. Diane

A bit odd for your third cycle?!

What has happened with your two previous cycles?! Something clearly hasn’t gone right and as Diane said I would have thought they would have abandoned this one due to poor response

So sorry to read this. I have been through the heart break of not getting any eggs collected, it is truly devastating. What were your two previous cycles like in terms of follicles and eggs collected? What were the clinic's expectations and did they speak to you about your options? x

Aww babe, I’ve been through this on my first round it’s heart breaking and I’ve also just today been told on my 2nd round that none of my follicles have responded at day 6 of Stims . I’m heartbroken , both goes have been on high doses of medication. I might try another clinic which offers natural IVF without medication to see if it’s any better , don’t give up hope xx

First cycle 300iu menopur .. 3 follies .. 5 eggs.. 2 blasts - transfer 2 - bfp- MC

Second cycle 225 gonal F and 150 menopur lots to f small follies but only one lead converted to iui - BFN

Third cycle 325iu pergovaris 3 follies .. slow growing as we cycled abroad we persued collecting 1 in hope it might be good quality - empty

In hindsight probably should have cancelled .. but have spent 2.5 years doing TSI with meds .. had one pregnancy to 10 weeks - suspected ectopic .. after surgery ectopic ruled out but missed MC. Found out in second pregnancy I have immune issues causing MC. Worried now that alot of my cycles are empty follicles hence the length of time in concieving

Next cycle have been recommended duostim or natural IVF .. just not sure what to do next

I’m so very sorry this has happened. You really have had a rough ride 😢. Give yourself time to grieve what’s happened this cycle and then see how you feel going forward. Sometimes you have clarity when you have given yourself some peace. I know it’s so hard to do. You have options still to try and with options comes hope. Its Such a difficult journey.
