This is my first round of IVF/ICSI, OTD was tomorrow but I tested this morning and got BFN. Had 2 embryos transferred which weren’t that great quality but just wanted to see if anyone else had BFP after a BFN at this stage?? I had cramping on day 4,5,6 with dark spotting throughout (light pink on day 6 & 8). Just clinging on to a hit of hope!! Xx

Sorry to hear Rose. Are you having a blood test to confirm? Or waiting a couple of days and then try again just to be sure. My experience sadly is that at 10dp5dt it will be accurate but I have also heard stories of false negatives at this stage. Sending love. Xxxx

Thank you! I will wait a few days and continue testing to be sure but not putting much hope on it! Will take a break because it has literally consumed my life for months and then try again xx

Sorry to hear about your BFN It's heartbreaking.

In my experience 10dp is usually pretty accurate - there are times when you might have late implantation and so the HCG doesn't rise soon enough - but to be honest that doesn't bode well either as it is often a chemical pregnancy.

Having said that, it can and does happen. I'd test again tomorrow morning anyway. Good luck xx
