Hi guys, I’m Relatively new to this group so bear with me as I haven’t posted on here before but summarise I will be 38 in September and have a 3 and a half year old little boy (our rainbow baby) and we have been trying ever since he was 6 months old.
I have had ongoing issues with endometriosis/cysts/adhesions due to previous surgeries etc and started my period when I was 9 years old. I have just been told my AMH is low at 0.6.
So appreciate my chances of conceiving naturally are quite low but I feel so clueless and helpless what to do next. Feel completely blessed to have our miracle but desperate to have another if possible.
My consultant said it is unlikely due to my age/AMH that I will conceive naturally as I basically have non existent periods and haven’t had a positive ovulation since before my little boy was born but you never know. Also IVF clinics may not accept me due to the above issues.
Just wondered if anyone can relate or perhaps recommend any fertility supplements or treatments I could try?
Would appreciate any help and thank you soo much for reading my post.

Hey, you could try dhea which is helpful with low amh. And also make sure you’re on a good fertility multivitamin, plus high doses of ubiquinol- I worked my way up to 600mg daily and after being on dhea and ubiquinol for 6 months I started to concieved naturally.
But you could consider seeing a fertility reflexologist or acupuncturist to see if they can help steer your cycle to start again.
You see people all the time with low amh conceiving - I’ve seen it as low as yours happen naturally, but obviously you’d need a cycle to be happening so that would need to be a focus I guess. Nutrient rich food may help too xx
It may be worth doing some research on IVF clinics that specialise in low AMH. Some of these clinics offer a few free webinars which can give you some useful information about treatment options.
I personally don’t have low AMH but I am over 40
with a diminished ovarian reserve so there’s is a slight overlap.
Please be aware that the webinars are obviously a way to drum up business but they do tell you a bit more about the clinics approach and specialisms. You can also ask questions about whether they have ever successfully treated someone with an ovarian reserve as low as yours.
Low AMH alone shouldn't be an issue when trying to conceive naturally. Low AMH just means you won't get many eggs using IVF. It's an indicator of quantity not quality. I got pregnant naturally twice with the following stats: age 38, AMH 0.5 and age 41, AMH 0.16. I also tried IVF which was useless in my case. The only supplement I took was prenatal vitamin. Oh and I made sure by thyroid TSH level was under 1 when ttc. If you don't have periods or regular ovulation, it sounds like the problem lies there not necessarily with your AMH.
