God, the waiting is so awful isn't it. Hope it's positive news tomorrow. I have a good and a bad. Good - 20 month old from our very first transfer. Bad - I've just miscarried at 8 weeks from our second transfer. Embryo had stopped developing at 5+6. I thought I was dealing with it, but the pain and bleeding and passing tissue on Friday was extremely distressing. Hoping that's the worst of it over now.
I’ve had 2 episodes of bleeding one good result one bad. First one ended in chemical pregnancy around 6.5 weeks but I did continue to spot bleed most days after test with that positive test, although mostly wasn’t heavy until the tests showed negative, I then had really heavy cramping and bleeding and passed the embryo. Clinic confirmed with HCG the miscarriage.
2nd positive test and again bleeding including massive bright red blood and clots (on slight cramping though for a short while) HCG was rising so had a scan at 5.5 weeks where the could see sac but also a subchorionic hematoma (blood clot) bleeding continued for weeks including another massive bright red bleed with clots but stopped at 10 weeks and I’m currently 38 weeks with no more bleeding since.
Hope your results today are good news and wishing you all the best 💜 xx
I had a massive amount of bleeding with my daughter from weeks 6 to 12. Every day, every colour. Sometimes golf ball sized clots. Twice I was taken into the hospital and told I was miscarrying. It stopped at week 12 and the pregnancy was going great. Unfortunately she was born prematurely at 23+3 due to an undetected incompetent cervix. She died at 5 weeks old. But apparently in no way was that connected to the bleeding. I hope that your pregnancy goes well for you and it’s nothing to be worried about.
