Transfer booked

So had another scan today, lining was 7.4mm and they’ve booked transfer for next Wednesday. Slightly worried that lining seems a little on the low side, clinic said as long as it’s over 7mm it’s fine but lots of ladies on here seem to have much thicker linings, any success stories with thinner linings? Need to try and get more in a positive frame of mind xx

I was like the two weeks ago. My lining wss taking ages to thicken but it got there in the end. Yours will likely thicken to 8mm by Wednesday if not more. Good luck with the transfer xx

Thanks, does it keep thickening even when you start taking progesterone? My clinic don’t seem to measure lining on the day xx

I'm not sure actually. My clinic actually gave me a trigger shot the evening after a scan that showed my lining at 8.43. Then I went back for one last scan two days later to check ovulation occurred and my lining wss then 11.3! Started progesterone injection and cyclogest the next day. Nurse did say looking can compact slightly after ovulation but I'm sure you'll be fine xx

Thanks it’s an FET so don’t need to worry about trigger shots I think I’m just a massive over thinker 🙈 but trying just to trust the clinic xx

My lining is always a bit on the slow side, some of us just dont get very thickened endometriums! However dont despair, my clinic are usually happy with over 7mm. I have been pregnancy twice, although we lost our embies (probably due to low progesterone) we did get pregnant so it can happen. I also remember a lady a while back who has a little one with a lining of 6.7mm and another lady who is still on here and is having twins! Good luck.xx

Mine was 8.1mm and we were successful on that attempt. My clinic said it only needed to be 8mm.

🤞 for you x

Thanks and congratulations on your pregnancy, I’m not sure if lining continues to thicken when you start progesterone?xx

Thanks, yes my clinic were happy it’s just me overthinking! I said to my hubby if I didn’t have the internet I wouldn’t know any different and would be happy if the clinic were happy so I should just trust them!xx

Good luck core! I’m sure you’re lining will thicken up a little more before transfer. But like the others have said above 7mm is good to go for a transfer! Good luck Hun xxx

Thanks, I’m feeling more positive after reading the responses, do you know if lining keeps thickening when you’re on progesterone?xx

I’m pretty sure it does. With my fresh my lining was 7.5 and then by second scan it was 8.5 and sure I had started taking progesterone by then xx

As you can read from the others, you don’t need to worry. Just wanted to say hi and wish you luck for this round. I’ll probably be soon behind you, assuming my transfer will be Monday week after. Xx

Mine was only 4.8mm in day 12 and then the day of the transfer I had reached 8.1mm, they doubled my progynova for that last 5 days and it seemed to have worked, won’t find out of its a bfp until a week on Sunday though xx

That’s great how much it grew, we’re you on progesterone as well? How are you finding the 2ww? 🤞 for you xx

They wanted to cancel the cycle but on my fresh cycle that was cancelled as I was only 5.1 on the day. I said I wanted to go ahead with this FET cycle as I was getting fed up and began to think my lining would never increase. I asked them if I could increase the progynova and if I could take a few internally instead as I’d googled that was better. That said I could so I ended up on 6 tablets a day and started the progesterone pessaries from day 13 too. It worked for me. I had a nightmare at transfer though and it took nearly 2 hours to get the embryo transferred and now I’m worried that my chances of it working as they said they needed to clamp my cervix and it can cause it to contract making it harder to implant. It was so sore afterwards but I feel fine now and I don’t really feel any different but I’m only on day 3. Good luck with your transfer xx
