IVF with Donor Eggs UK

Hi,

I haven't written on here for a while.

I know there are a lot of posts with regards to using donor eggs for IVF. We are thinking of doing this now after 5 years of IVF with my own eggs, 3 episodes of OHSS, 8 unsuccessful transfers and 1 early miscarriage.

I am slowly getting stronger emotionally and we are thinking of having an attempt using donor eggs. I am 44!

We are not keen to go abroad, even with COVID, the logistics of going and with work would not be easy and also we have decided not to say anything to anyone, so taking a trip abroad would be impossible at the moment with all the restrictions, testing etc. Also looking at the cost, by the time you pay for treatment, accommodation, flights etc etc, I don't think there is an awful lot in it, although I haven't done precise calculations!

If anyone could let me know how they found it and the clinics (through PM) I would be really interested.

Good Luck with all your journeys.... it is certainly a rough one for many

Hi,

I can assure you as someone who also experienced years of trying and disappointment that this would be a positive thing for you to look at.

I also have one daughter and am also very newly pregnant thanks to a beautiful generous donor somewhere!

My yearning for a child was fulfilled and my babies are completely mine they just are more special I will tell them when they are old enough how they came to be and would love to cuddle their biological donor myself should I get the chance...❤️

I am happy to pm you with clinic and treatment details xx
