So we are on round 3 following our miscarriage in December! We followed exactly the same meds as last time as everything just went right. However, this time there are issues- eggs needed more meds and extra days and there is fluid in my lining (never happened before!) and it is looking to thin. the clinic is saying they may need to do a freeze all but need to check on collection day. I had such a bad experience with the last FET (meds were horrendous and it didn’t work) so feeling really annoyed at my body!
I am grateful that there are some good follicles but how can this round be so different when we are doing the same thing.
Anyone else have lining issues/fluid?
Much love to all xxx

Hi Judy, I didn’t have the fluid issue but I did have one cycle where despite meds being the same, I responded oddly during the cycle. I think it was my estradiol blood levels that didn’t go up between two of the scans once they added in the fyremadel (never happened before) so they ended up adding in additional Menopur to supplement LH levels and get the estradiol levels going up again. They did, but quality ended up being poor so I ended up with nothing to transfer. In retrospect the fact that my body responded differently was a signal that something wasn’t right that month. We switched protocols the next cycle which worked, so will never know whether it would have gone back to normal on the original protocol. I am just convinced my body doesn’t like Menopur. I’m just sharing this to say, if things don’t look right in one cycle, like with fluid, there is a good chance it is random and won’t happen again - but in my experience worth waiting until those kinds of issues have passed which very well could be in the next cycle.
Thanks for responding. Just so frustrating! Also we have paid for 2 rounds and after that i think we will stop so would rather bot have everything resting on the last round!
Hi Judy, I had a miscarriage in October and last month was the first month all the fluid had gone. It’s very annoying and upsetting but you want your body 100% for the next transfer. I was upset with waiting but my body is back to normal and ready for another go xx
