Cancelled IVF cycle

Good morning!

I'm a freelance journalist writing about how the pandemic has forced many women to press the pause button on their hopes for a family.

It may also be worth considering those of us who are having IVF treatment internationally who have had our treatments cancelled and due to travel restrictions have very little to no hope starting anytime soon.

Spain is a perfect example where they’ve banned UK travellers entering. A lot of us go there as they have more availability than the UK of egg donors.

The problem is, due to legislation around donors, we cannot transfer embryos to the UK to allow us to continue treatment and have no idea when the Spanish borders will open again.
