Should I worry about ectopic pregnancy?

Hi

My husband and I tried for a baby last month, we tried everyday around my ovulation window and I had lots of many pregnancy symptoms as feeling ill( like a cold) and tired and sleepy etc. however the pregnancy test was negative and also the same day (2days earlier than my expected period day though) I saw blood - period started.

It has been 5days since period but from like 2/3 days ago, I have this really bad nausea. Barely can eat certain food and make me avoid lot of food that I normally was okay with. I never had this feeling in my life..

I don't have any other serious symptoms as nhs says but I am quite worried that I should call nhs for a check up or more attention.

what do you think?

If you had an ectopic pregnancy it would still show up on a sensitive pregnancy test. You could always call your GP to put your mind at ease but I would doubt it if your tests are negative x

Repeat the pregnancy test. First response is sensitive to HCG of 6 and clearblue 25.

If you are bleeding heavy and has abdominal pain you should go to an emergency room. Best,

Hi Juliaro 89,I had an ectopic pregnancy and the test came up positive showing 1-2 weeks. When I tested again a week or two later the test was still positive but a week indicator didnt progress any further. Ask your dr to do the blood test. Mind yourself.

Thank you for the reply. I figured out that I don't have ectopic pregnancy.More later, it developed less nausea but I saw some blood in urine so I called nhs and they think it's still period from trying baby last month as I have high hormones then other time.

Now I am a bit more relieved but didn't know trying for baby could also change the hormones this much!
