I’m driving myself mad!!!!

After the loss of our first IVF baby at 10 weeks, I’m worried this baby won’t stick around! Any advice, success stories?

Thank you for a very anxious IVF WARRIOR!

Hi!! I feel the same! I’m 5 weeks and 3 days. no symptoms, and I know for now everything is ok ( done my second blood test on Monday and going for the third one on Friday) but I’m living with the fear of loosing my baby every second, I was awake till 5:30 in the morning and thinking of going to the scan and what if there is no heartbeat😢 it’s really hard when you have experienced the loss... so just wanted to say you are not alone... I wish you a healthy and easy pregnancy, look after yourself 😘

my husband keep telling me to calm down and sometimes he even says don’t think about it 😳 how on earth I suppose to stop myself. Thank you for your kind wishes, we need to pass the first semester and then we can relax a little 😘

I had no symptoms either, it's only the last month or so ive started feeling (and looking) pregnant. No sickness, fatigue during 1st trimester at all, i felt normal and I'm 20 weeks tomorrow. I assume its Not long till your viability scan, hopefully that will help give you a bit of reassurance. Xx

Congratulations 🎉

That’s reassuring, thank you! My 7 week scan is in 2 weeks, but as you probably know every day feels like a year

Yeah the 2 week wait is pure hell, n then the next wait for the scan is equally as bad. I'll be honest I didn't stop worrying till I had a private scan at 11 weeks and saw it move and that settled something in my head and heart. I made a promise to myself after that to try n enjoy the rest of my pregnancy since it might be the only one I ever have. I have everything crossed for your scan in a few weeks, just know your feelings are shared by most ladies and I had lots of ladies tell me they had no symptoms either which really reassured me too. Its not personally, but I've read many success stories of people with no symptoms! My best friend (due in a week!) Didn't feel thing until 19weeks! Didn't really believe she was pregnant if it wasn't for the scans! No sickness, no movement, just a bit tired from about week 10! I wish I could also advise how to stop thinking about it, but not sure you can when you're growing a baby inside you!!!

Hope the viability scan comes around soon and then you get a bit of reassurance! Good luck xxxx

Thank you for telling me about your friend, it’s helped reassure me that no symptoms isn’t always a bad sign! 7 week scan in two weeks 😬

5 weeks 3 days today and no symptoms too. Do feel rather tired, and occasional period type pain, but that's it. Got viability scan on Dec 16th and hoping like you that all will be ok. Ordered HCG bloods privately and waiting for results. All the best guys! Xx💞

I’m 9weeks 3 days and fully expected to be told I’d had a loss at our viability scan as have no symptoms exp tiredness and the odd twinge. I was amazed to be told everything was ok. I still feel the same though, it reassured me for all of 2 minutes before I started worrying again 🤣 Good luck for your scan xx

Hi!

Unfortunately I've suffered two Ectopic pregnancies but what I can tell you here is that every pregnancy is different.

On my first pregnancy I had every symptom going at 5 weeks, I was sick, sore boobs, food cravings, heightened smell - the lot.

Then on my most recent pregnancy, the only reason I took a test was because I was late on my period. MY boobs did hurt but I knew I was due on and then I figured out I was 2 weeks late and did a test to rule it out. I had no symptoms at all.

Just because you're pregnant, doesn't mean you will get symptoms, you are still very very early.

Please please please don't stress yourself out with the worry of not having symptoms, stress can lead to miscarriage and other complications... as long as you're not in any pain, not bleeding or fainting then I'd say there is a good chance everything is okay!

Please keep us updated xxx

My symptoms didn’t kick in until 6.5 weeks and I know everyone is different it’s so hard not to worry especially after what you have been through! I was really sick up until about 17weeks and now I’ve started to feel better I’m worried that’s a bad sign for my 20 week scan! The worry never ends 🙈 when is your first scan? Hopefully all the stories of no symptoms on here give you some comfort until then 🤗 xxx

Congratulations!! I don’t think we ever stop worrying - not until the babies are in our arms! I just pray this time is our time to bring our baby earthside too! Wishing you all the best, thank you for reassuring me xxx
