7 Days of Stimming - No side effects

First IVF cycle. Low ovarian reserve. Low AMH. I am so nervous. I have just done 7 days of stimming and don't feel any cramps in my ovaries. Are my follicles growing? I have my first scan tomorrow so prayers & fingers crossed because this is my final chance to try after years of trying.

Hello! I didn't get any cramps or bloating during stims either, wondered whether anything was going on down there! But my follicles were growing and managed to get more eggs collected than expected (I have low AMH too). Good luck for your scan tomorrow I'm sure the meds are working their magic even though you can't feel it xx

Same for me I had no pain or swelling. Also have low amh. Hope tommorow goes well. Try not to worry x

Hi Bernie, Just wanted to say good luck for the scan tomorrow. I had a high level of stims due to my low follicle count and had no cramps or side effects.

Everything crossed for you to get loads of good size follicles xx

Good luck with your scan, it is normal not to have cramps and it’s definitely normal to worry about not have any. X

Please don’t worry, I had 33 eggs collected, my ovaries were so big they fell down behind my uterus and they were touching each other and then I spent 10 days in hospital with OHSS and I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing until the day after my trigger shot when I felt a bit “off” and heavy 😂😂 so please don’t worry about the lack of symptoms while stimming, I don’t think it means anything!

Good luck with your first scan today! I wouldn't worry too much as going off what everyone else has said a lot of people don't get any symptoms . I have had 8 days of stims and have felt cramps and twinges in my ovaries but I only have 3 follicles growing so not sure why I feel anything... xx

Thanks, I am on the long protocol. At the start my amh was one and I had 5 follicles in there. With 1 week of stimming dont know if I will have more or less. On my way to my scan now to find out - 😫

Hi Bernie, how did it go? I have a low AMH and I am on day 8 but I have two follicles which are 20mm so they are going in to collect these on Friday. A lot less than I hoped & prayed for.

Hi I ended up with just ONE follicle at egg collection. It matured, it fertilised and I had my embryo transfer yesterday and now the dreaded 2 week wait. Just take one day at a time. Dont think beyond the next stage and you will be fine. I will be praying for you xx

Well they keep saying to me it one takes one quality egg/ embryo to make the baby so I hope this will all work for you! I’m sure the wait will feel like ages. I’m about to have mine collected will update in a few days. Thinking of you x
