7dp5dt BFP? Food poisoning..Help!

I generally do not worry too much, believe I am rather a positive person. However, 2WW has not been easy and Ive been especially worried since last night. Yesterday at about 5:30pm (6dp5dt), I took a test which returned a strong second line.. I was so happy.. however, shortly after that I started having food poisoning symptoms (must be premade seafood), and had the worst stomach cramp ever with chills/sweat that I was almost crawling on the floor. After some visits to the toilet (sorry for tmi), stomach somewhat settled but I woke up at 2:30am as there were lots of explosion going on in the stomach and I felt feverish though no temperature. I did another pregnancy test and it still gave me a line but fainter than that on 6dp5dt.. I woke up at 7:30am and did another one which showed a line again albeit not as strong as that on 6dp5dt.. pic attached. I did drink some water to avoid dehydration. Is everything going to be ok?? I’m so scared reading how bad food poisoning can be during pregnancy and freaking out. I really shouldn’t have eaten the premade seafood as I should have been treating myself as if I was pregnant..

Hi HK12.

That does not sound a nice experience. It still looks a strong line to me and from what i have heard these embryos are resilient little things. Why don’t you can the clinic. They may recommend something to help replace the fluids you have lost and also offer some reassurance.

Thank you so much!! I’ve been testing like a crazy person and still have two lines so hopefully it’s a good sign. Sending you lots of baby dust and positive thoughts too!!
