Hi everyone I’m just looking for some reassurance. I started having brown discharge only small amounts when I wiped yesterday afternoon (2dp5dt) after some cramps which started on 1dp5dt. Now I don’t have any cramps but still have the brown discharge. I phoned my clinic and they said it can happen and to up my progesterone to 3xday. I find they respond to most of questions with it can happen.
Is/have anyone else experiencing this so early after transfer?
Thanks xxx

I’ve been having brown discharge on and off since transfer. I’m on progesterone 3 times a day and had a few cramps here and there. Clinic says it’s normal and nothing to worry about. But of course we do.
It’s so hard not to worry and stress. I knew this was going to be tough but this is harder than I imagined. I don’t know what to do with myself other than drink tea which is decaf so it’s not even nice 😣
I know what you mean - the days are long and the weeks are dragging .... I still have another week before our scan and this was all happening last week 😭 I’ve read good stories for women who have experience the same.. so all the best and I hope all is well xx 😘
This was the email my clinic sent in reply to my brown spotting:
We know this is an extremely anxious time for you.
Dark brown spotting is old blood that can just be from the lining stretching and an effect from the medication. It is nothing to be concerned about. It does not tell us any further information at this stage to do another repeat blood test, what is important now is to wait for the scan.
Try not to worry as this can be perfectly normal. If there are any changes please do not hesitate to let us know. Remember if you feel you need any extra support the counselling service is also available to you
