Cancelled cycle due to cyst

Hello ladies my cycle was cancelled last week after 8 day stimmimg I was reacting quite well to the bureslin and gonal f apart from the cyst not letting one ovary produce any follicles. I need to have an operation to remove it before we try again. Has anyone experienced this and had to wait a long time for the operation? I'm still super tired and boobs kill. After 7 years of trying im on the verge of giving up

Hi, I had a Laporoscopy in May 2019 to remove a cyst and adhesions. I was told I would need the operation in November 2018. I was on the NHS waiting list for six months until May 2019. It was then another six weeks after the operation and then I was referred back to my clinic for another scan which showed that I could finally go ahead with treatment. However, I didn’t start my first round until Jan 2020 due my thyroid level which further delayed treatment. Unfortunately with IVF it feels like all you do is wait..! Hope your ok xx

Hello, I developed a large, painful cyst during my last cycle of IVF. Currently on the waiting list to have it removed. My Consultant said it’s approx an 8 week wait. I guess all NHS trusts are different though. Check with your Consultant? Hopefully you won’t be waiting too long x

Thank you im just going to wait for a letter as I cant imagine it will be before Xmas especially with the covid backlog of operations just another bump in the road I suppose. Xx
