Empty sac at 6 weeks 3 days

Hey girls. Was rushed to hospital yesterday as had severe abdominal cramps and vomitting and dizziness from pain. Im 6 weeks 3 days. They did a scan as thought it was ectopic. I have really bad ohss. Had laparscopy last night to check ovaries werent twisted which they arent. Im in hospital still and they are monitoring me closely. During the scan yesterday they saw a sac but nothing else. Any positive stories. The sacs measuring 21mm so cant diagnose miscarriage as its too small. Doc said its a waiting game but it sjould be around 35 mm now. Im heartbroken and missing my little girl. Positive vibes much appreciated xxx

Hi Violet, so sorry you are going through this. I had a 6 week scan last week and they only saw the sack which measured just over 4 weeks, so I’m waiting to miscarry naturally at the moment. It’s so bloody hard but I have everything crossed for a positive outcome for you. Just know you’re not alone, wishing you all the best xx

I’m sorry, Violet. It sounds rubbish what you’re going through. Unfortunately, I don’t have a positive story as my very first transfer ended like this - empty sack and I had to get a D&C at 7 weeks.

I’m really hoping your story has a better ending, sending you lots of positive vibes and hugs. It’s tough, I know but try and keep positive as long as there’s still a chance.

I know the feeling. I had no symptoms, just went in for a scheduled scan at 6wks4d to find that it was an empty gestational sac. So heartbroken. I miscarried naturally, no pain or cramps, which surprised me.

I hope you got success in the end.
