I caved and tested early on 6dp5dt and got a BFN in a natural cycle with clear blue. Does this mean I'm out
6DP5DT BFN - Is it over?: I caved and... - Fertility Network UK
6DP5DT BFN - Is it over?
Its still early so no its not over. To be honest some people get positives at this stage but its not as common as you think. Hang on in there, I know its tough when you see a negative but it could well change!! Good luck.xx
Thank you, fingers crossed. It is so hard to keep going and it is our last grade A embryo so it would be B's next which is even more of a worry as I feel if it didn't work with A my chances are slimmer with B. xx
FRER tests are more sensitive. Also just for future.....I know its really hard not to get too hung up on gradings of embryos but Ive seen lots of ladies with top graded embryos not work and their lower graded ones do work! A lot of this is own to luck and if they are good enough to freeze, they can make babies!!xx
Not necessarily like Cinderella said. Also your embryo might not have implanted yet. Everyone is different, some implant later. Also apparently clear blue isn't good with such early testing. First response is better. It's prob best to wait until test day now tho just so you don't drive yourself insane. Good luck x
Definitely not!! It’s still quite early. If you want to test, test with a first response 6 days sooner, but wait a couple of days to get the most accurate result. Or wait until your blood test (which can be a torture, I know all too well)
FRERs are:
•76% accurate at 5DP5DT
•96% accurate at 6DP5DT
•greater than 99% accurate at 7DP5DT
Clear blue just isn’t as sensitive unfortunately at this stage.
Wishing you the best! Keep us posted xxx
