Bleeding after withdrawal bleed following a freeze all

Hi everyone, we had our first egg collection 2 weeks but had to freeze all due to OHSS! I had my withdrawal bleed 4 days later which finished 5 days ago, I have just started lightly bleeding again over this weekend, is this normal or to be expected?

Hi Suzy! I had a similar experience after my first cycle - I had my withdrawal bleed and within 10 days was bleeding again (albeit lightly) and again 10 days after that. I got my proper period on the ‘3rd bleed’ if that makes sense which ended up being about 3 weeks after I had my negative test.

Your body is just adjusting to all those hormones you’ve been injecting so it will take time to settle back into a normal routine.

Ahhh ok thank you, it’s just nice to know what’s normal without going back to the clinic!

They’ve said not until January which is really disappointing but we’ve waited 3 years already so another few months won’t hurt!🙈x

Yeah it does feel like your not told what to expect with bleeds and periods following a negative!

Ahh January will be here before you know it, I can’t quite believe we are almost in October. Just take the time to heal and get your body and mind ready Again xxx
