Hi all, wanted to ask if anyone has had acupuncture? I’m a bit nervous about doing it, although I’ve heard it helps blood flow and success rates of fertility. Has anyone does this and seen a success? Anyone done this for their IVF treatment?

Does acupuncture help fertility?
I have done Acupuncture, I like to believe that it helped...ive had failed cycles with it at one place...switched to another and had positive cycle...just make sure they're registered on British Acupuncture Council...and go with an open mind...really important to go before and after embryo transfer...they will tell you that...if anything it helps to relax...Good luck xx
Hi there
I’ve been doing acupuncture on and off throughout this journey. I did it in prep for ivf, in prep for transfers etc. I think it does do something, even if just helps you relax and know you’re doing something extra to help the process. I’ve had bfp cycles with it, I had bfp without. No take home baby yet though.
Choosing the clinic is important. See what their credentials are, their experience etc. it really does make a difference.
I'm trying naturally at the moment and started acupuncture a couple of months ago. I'm liking it! My acupuncturist is great though, really knowledgeable about fertility. I find if helps me relax and I feel I'm trying all I can , if that makes sense. She's just given me a blend of Chinese herbs unique to my situation and charts etc so I'm looking forward to trying those this cycle 🤞 If I go for IVF again I'll definitely have acupuncture. But defo find someone good, someone really knowledgeable about fertility.
I did it alongside my FET and had success. It really relaxed me x
