late periods after cancelled cycle

Hi ,

i am 38 yo & trying for baby since years recently started my ivf but unfortunately this cycle got cancelled due to poor response , but i am on my 15th day and didn't get my periods yet had pregnancy test but it was negative,i am worrying as i need to start my another cycle , is there anyone else who is facing same issue like me.

Hi- sorry to hear that your cycle was cancelled. I’ve not been in exactly the same position but my doctor has prescribed me either Provera or Norethesterine tablets which should start a bleed within about 5-7 days. Good luck!

Hi, i also had my cycle cancelled as i was a poor responder. my period is due to come next monday which would be my 28 day cycle however doc said it may come later due to the drugs. i have my fingers crossed it does come so i can then start the IUI process

Hi. It is so common for your cycle to be upset after treatment. Can take up to three to return to what is normal for you. Hope all soon is OK. Diane
