Hi girls, I am now 9 days post 5 day transfer and although I had spotting from Thursday which was brown and then red I believe that I have started a full period since Saturday/Sunday. My OTD is not until this coming Saturday so I just thought to hell with it I alright as well test. I tested on Saturday and got the faintest possible line. Barely there. I tested on Sunday and got another faint but more visible line. I tested this morning and got another line..a wee bit darker than the rest.
I am so confused as I am bleeding red. I want to keep hopeful but am just praying that this is not faint positives. Any words of wisdom would be welcome!
Thanks for taking the time to read this ladies, appreciate it xx

There are plenty of stories out there about women bleeding heavily and still having a BFP so you never know. I guess the other possibility is that it's a chem pregnancy but that wouldn't explain the line getting darker. If it was I don't know how you'd feel about that - it is a sign you can get pregnant even if this embryo wasn't viable. I can imagine why you're so confused. Does your clinic do blood tests? If so they could see if your HCG levels are increasing and you should have the test results back before Saturday. If not then you might just have to hang on for a few more days, as horrible as that may be. If that is the case then maybe try a HPT like clear blue which tells you how far preg you are. I tested 9dp5dt and it said 1-2 weeks, then 2 days later it said 2-3 weeks so that would give you an indication that your HCG levels are invreasing. But you should definitely remain positive as whilstever that line is there there's a possibility of it being successful! Good luck!
Hi Lynnr54, many thanks for your reply! I am just going to keep testing everyday and hope that the line continues to grow strong. I guess I am just feeling that little bit positive but nervous and confused at the same time. It's definitely an emotional roller coaster!
Again many thanks for your kind, comforting words! I will keep you posted on my results xx
It's always a worry...you just want to know for definite. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
When did you do your trigger shot? I know it can stay in your system/affect test results for up to 12 days.
Also, as other people have mentioned, some people do bleed early pregnancy and go on to be fine.
I did early clearblue digitals and got pregnant results, but didn't really have any symptoms like I did the first time. When it got to OTD, I had a pregnant on cb and the clinic test line was so faint you could barely see it.
We called the clinic and they did a blood test which had to be repeated days later and the levels increased which worried them about a potential ectopic. We had a scan too, but it would have been too early to have seen anything anyway under normal circumstances. The next blood test showed the level had dropped and it was classed as a chemical miscarriage.
Keep doing your tests and taking your medication...good luck x
Thanks for your reply Hollibob, so sorry to here about your mis... That's so tough to take. It's such a cruel process at times 😖 How are you doing just now?
I am now 17 days past the trigger shot with the lines growing in strength each day but each morning I wake up feeling a little less positive as I am so scared it's not going to reappear. So silly I know, just wish I could switch off from it all but it's on your mind 24/7 😞.
Will just wait and see until OTD which is Saturday and take it from there xx
I hope you get your baby soon, wishing you every success for the future.
Thanks again for your advice, I think I will call the clinic tomorrow and explain that I have taken tests. I did call on Monday to let them know I had taken a bleed but refrained from telling them I tested as didn't want to get told off.
