Hi all,

A question to health workers out there. I'm due to have my embryo transfer in a few weeks, and am thinking about what I should do in regards to work and the risk with Covid-19. I have a patient facing role for part of my working week, otherwise in an office. Should I carry on doing the patient facing role after my transfer or should I be requesting that I don't? my boss is very supportive. just wondering what others have been doing in a similar situation? x

Morning bbti,

I am a nurse and from what I understand is that post transfer you will be treated and risk assessed like anyone else who is pregnant. Taking you away from your patient facing role will be your managers discretion, as long as you’re risk assessment doesn’t come back high then your manager will have to rethink.

I hope that makes sense x
