5w1d loss of symptoms

Abcdefghijklmnopqq profile image

Through some miracle of science we got pregnant this round (4th IVF) I attribute it to no PGS. My HCG levels doubled every 48 hours (last level yesterday) and starting last night I lost all my symptoms. No nausea, no twinging, breasts feel less full and tender. AM I GOING CRAZY? Has this happened to anyone else? 😟

Hi, I’m feeling quite similar. I’m 5 weeks 5 days and the main symptom I’ve had is sore heavy boobs but the last couple of that has almost disappeared.. I was also very bloated but not so much anymore. I’ve also had a tiny amount of brown discharge/ spotting also since yesterday. I’m so worried. I have a headache today but probably stress related. My scan is not until 28th but I’m going to ring clinic next week to see if they can get me in or at least do a couple of blood tests to see if I’m progressing. Ive not had any tests so far so have no idea on my levels.

Wishing us both lots of luck that we are still happy and healthily pregnant xxx

Yes that’s all we can do at this stage. Let me know how you get on also xx

I had no morning sickness with any of my pregnancies ( so far 2 full term ones) I haven’t had any with this pregnancy until over 6 weeks - sometimes symptoms don’t kick in till later on. Symptoms also come & go the body soon gets used to HCG & only have “symptoms “ when HCG rises. Some women also have no symptoms but have healthy babies. My mother in law had none with 3 pregnancies but had 3 healthy sons! Early days are so hard but they will pass. With HCG levels doubling it sounds like things are progressing well. I’m sure the symptoms will return! One day at a time you can do this xxx

The symptoms you were experiencing were likely from progesterone, other drugs and recovering from egg collection (if it was a fresh transfer) rather than pregnancy so try not to worry too much. My actual pregnancy symptoms didn’t kick in until after the 6 weeks mark. I know it’s an anxious time and that wait for the first scan will feel like an eternity but you’ll get there! Xx

It was a frozen transfer so I know it wasnt the retrieval. I have felt the soreness from progesterone in previous failed transfer. Its so hard to not over analyze every little thing! Weve been married 10 years and infertile for 6 so this is a much hyped event!
