Hi ladies, im asking if anyone has any experience of using a good clinic and hopefully had success in the uk.I'm so struggling today in which direction to turn. I'm so fed up honestly. My last scan had 3 follicles. I'm taking oestrogen and progesterone to induce monthly bleeds. Thank you in advance x

Best ivf clinics for over 45 in the uk
Have sent you a message.
my opinion is to get away from uk. Greece was my choice and i am glad …
Hi. Please reply by DM/PM if mentioning clinics by name, so as not to advertise. Thank you. Diane
I’m in a similar position and so far have not been impressed with what the uk can offer us ‘older’ women. Have you had any blood tests done yet? The first thing I would do is get a cycle day 3 hormone panel to see where you are at, as really this should be used to inform things going forward. Ivf clinics just want to jump into treatment and don’t really care about the reason for infertility (they just put it down to age and poor egg quality). After failed ivf I found out my TSH and estrogen were both high (both of which reduce chances of success with ttc and ivf) so feel I would have had a better chance if I’d addressed this first before paying for all the treatment. Where are you on your ttc journey?
come to Greece 🫶
Hi Mikkie
Hope you are well. I was just wondering if someone has replied you regarding your question. If you don’t mind, would be nice to know as I’m looking for clinics in the UK but also, thinking of going abroad. Thank you in advance.
Hi at the moment I'm trying to balance my hormones levels. I'm with concept in London.
I would say get out of UK, better service and cheaper.
I chose Prague as it was easy and cheap to get there.
But I have heard Greece and Spain have amazing treatments.
Hi Sonisonix, I’ve always wondered and I hope you don’t mind me asking, how does it work in practice? Do you stay in Prague for two weeks in an Airbnb so that you can go for daily scans during the stimulation phase?
I did all the scans in UK. My partner went one time before myself and he collected medications ( you can buy them in UK but it was a lot of fuss) Then I went with my partner on the egg retrieval and stay 5 days for egg transfer and 3 days more after, just to relax. But in theory you can travel back same day of the transfer.
From the airport, there is a bus that goes to a metro line (you have 90 min to use the same ticket , no matter how many journeys) and this clinic is on that line, so I stayed in one of the stops of that line and it was really easy and cheap
Pm if you want any more details
