Hi, just an update, so we got positive pregnancy test on day 7 a very faint line that gave me so much hope, I didn’t want to share it here in case some were getting negative result but unfortunately my faint line has completely disappeared on day 13, it was a PGS frozen transfer and I honestly thought this time we will make it.....
This was a lesson for me to never ever test early because you never know....

We are okay thank you it happened 3 years ago. 13 months after & 2 more surgeries to treat my endo we conceived our 14 month old daughter & I’m 6 weeks 3 days I won’t get excited till the 12 week scan ( due same time as we were with the chemical) hope that can offer some hope that just because you have a chemical pregnancy doesn’t mean another pregnancy wouldn’t be successful.
We were bloody determined not to give up & fought. It was so hard after the loss but we took the positive that we managed to conceive in 6 years of not managing to even for a short time. It was definitely the worst blow on our long struggle felt like a big slap in the face!
It will get a little easier each day ( you never forget the loss but learn to live with it) time is a healer. Give yourselves as much time as you need it & don’t expect too much from yourself it’s early days. Treat yourselves - I treated myself to all the things I couldn’t do pregnant. 🥂

You know I had experience lost before, had two missed miscarriages that’s why we decided to move in to ivf and PGS testing... maybe that’s why I thought this time everything will be just great.
At the moment it still hurts to think of a glass of wine, so silly that today I found myself ordering all the vitamins needed help us to conceive naturally...

I’m so sorry I didn’t know. How awful for you. It’s horrible enough to go through once let alone three times. I’m so very sorry. It’s just not fair.
It’s not silly for not wanting to give up on your dream it’s completely understandable.
Have you been referred for miscarriage investigations? I think after 3 they should refer you.
Have you tried prednisone ( low dose steroid) low dose aspirin? I take prednisone & progesterone from positive test till 12 weeks. I swear they both made a difference & kept my daughter safe- the first pregnancy it took the drs a few days to sort out prescriptions & receptionist were useless didn’t tell me 🙄 by which point pregnancy was lost...
I have heard after a miscarriage you are extra fertile so providing all content has gone ( usually does with a chemical ) you’d been fine to try again if you are mentally ok with it. xxx
Hi dear, after my second missed miscarriage, I went recurrent miscarriage clinic and did all the possible test, also sent the pregnancy tissue to the lab for test... the only thing we found out was that my little baby girl has turner syndrome and thats why I had the missed miscarriage. After my husband and I did CarrierMatch test to find out if we have any genetic disorders and nothing! thats why we were suggested to do PGS ...

So sorry to hear this - my 3rd transfer failed last week. It's so tough. Please take some time to do the things you enjoy doing and lean on the support of people around you, it's such a hard journey xx

I'm so sorry to hear you experience the same thing... I'm really interested to find out what went wrong... if you have any information please share with me , I understand that anyone is different but trying to understand it before I'll go for a review... hope you are better dear xxx
I havent really discovered a reason for my loses apart from my progesterone levels werent high enough so we have upped the meds now. Also Ive recently had an ERA test done to check when my implantation window is and I need to be on progesterone for a full 24 hours longer than most people. However this could all be coincidental for my losses as most chemicals are thought to be due to chromosomal issues but again I think that's just an educated guess as they honestly just dont know the reason these things occur.xx

Well I cant say for sure what works as we are still striving for a pregnancy but I definitely think the progesterone levels before transfer are really important. Thank you for your kindness too, its much appreciated.xx

Aww I get that and no one really knows what’s it’s like (except maybe people on here) sometimes though family and friends they can just distract you and be there and help without even knowing it. I didn’t tell anyone about my chemical earlier in the year until I felt a little stronger in myself but I did spend time with my family just for the comfort of them being around without them knowing why I was down xx you are completely right though no one can really really fix it for us xxx
I am sorry it did not work, I am in the same boat, just got my negative this morning with PGS tested embryo... it sucks but we need to pick ourselves up and try again x no other way

I’m sorry I haven’t really got any helpful advice. We never got to the bottom of it and most consultants tended to just suggest the most likely issue is my poor egg quality (but I am 40 so quite a bit older). So we’ve decided after 5 unsuccessful fresh cycles to move to try DE. But I do think for many it’s a numbers game so worth trying again if you feel like you can. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
