Confusing!!!

This month's confusing story....before I start I have not taken a pregnancy test as I am 99% sure it is just my period messing with me..........however, my periods are usually 28 days, this month it arrived 2 days early, should have been tomorrow and arrived yesterday. On the run up to my period, I normally have cramps, bloating, sore boobs, this month notbing which is why I was surprised when it arrived. Yesterday all I had was pink blood and today it seems to have gone a dark brown, still no cramps, occasional twinge at my left ovary and back and boobs a little uncomfy but apart from that, nothing. What an earth is going on?
