Cycle update: Day 10 scan. 2 follicles growing. Advice anyone?

Another update from me. So we did the 5 hour round trip again today. Thankfully my elusive left ovary decided to make an appearance.

Unfortunately the scan didn’t show what I was hoping for.

The follicle on my right is now 12mm (from 8mm two days ago) and today we could find only one follicle on my left measuring 17.5mm.

I managed to see my consultant. His decision was to keep stimming until Saturday, trigger Saturday, egg collection Monday.

The concerns I have is that last round (the one which resulted in my little boy) I had only one follicle on my right which grew to a good size but produced no egg. My right ovary is very very small. My left produced two good eggs which made it to 3dt. My left ovary is of normal size. I’m worried that my good left follicle will grow too big waiting for the right one to catch up. I really feel that nothing will come if the right follicle and by Monday the left 17.5mm follicle could perish. The right follicles has grown 4mm in two days! I obviously don’t know how the left has grown as we only managed to see it for the first time today. My other worry is that really my egg collection should have been on Sunday but they are closed on Sundays making it go to Monday. My consultant (whom I have every faith in as he made my little boy after two other consultants said I shouldn’t bother trying) reassured me that I have nothing to worry about but here I am, worried! 😭

Has anyone else experienced anything similar with odd sized follicles producing good eggs at collection? Also has anyone been effected by egg collection not happening at a weekend and got a positive result?
