This sounds like a really daft question, but do evaporation lines appear right away after doing a pregnancy test, or do they only appear after the time they should be read?
Below was straight after the 3 minutes. I can hardly see anything, but feel there is something tiny. Could be an evap?
Thanks

I know 🙈 so hard not to isn't it. The test I used is a first response test. They not known for evaporation lines? Realistically it sounds like they should only appear after they 3 minutes, but who knows. Confusing lol x
I've looked at this for ages & originally thought I saw something but I'm not so sure now. Evap lines tend not to come up until later and they are white or grey. You can probably see better in person. I'm an early tester too & all I can say is if you can hang off for a couple of days you should get more of an idea what's going on, if there is a line then it will be much more apparent & use a first morning wee. Good luck.xx
I had a test like this on my last round. I remember putting it on my husband desk at home with a post it note saying am I going mad or is there the faintest faintest line!
I got a faint but much more visible line by the next day and found afternoon was stronger than morning for me. Good luck!x
Thanks for your support guys. What day did you get your BFP @KiboXX? Done another again this morning and hardly anything there. Swear it's the evap. Feel completely hopeless and so low. Don't know how people carry on as normal going through this x
It takes a while for lines to show properly. Those FRER tests show really low levels from around 6 and you hcg is meant to double every 48 hours so in one day you really wont see much progression in the time from last nights test to this morning if that makes sense.xx
Have you tried an afternoon test rather than a morning? Mine was always almost negative on fmu or if I tried to hold my wee top long but a clearer line later in the day.
I know it’s tough, one of the downsides of testing too early but don’t give up just yet x
Yeah I've tried in the afternoons too, but that faint faint line is always the same. I know, deep down I should have waited, but the temptation just takes over. Thanks, will hang on in there a little while longer x
