How my evenings have changed! Been so looking forward to tonight to start my stimulating injections! 🤣
This is our first IVF round. We started the preparation month end of January but had to stop as my bloods showed no immunity to Rebella. So I had to be immunised against Rebella again. Started again in March then covid happened. So 3rd time lucky hopefully! Feel so excited to get started!!!
Have just completed my first injection and didn't realise how much of a whimp I am! They bloody sting them injections!! 🤣
Good luck to everyone whatever your stages 🥰🥰🥰

Yeah all our screenings and consent had expired so had to repeat everything again! We are same as you and doing ICSI. Next in clinic for a scan tuesday!
Hey Daxie! I started stims the day before yesterday! Menopur in the evening & Fyremadel in the morning. 1st round also. Don't find the Menopur to bad (although I really dithered on the 1st injection due to being a wuss.....lol), by boy are the injection sites tender after a few hours. Think the needle for the Fyremadel is a little thicker as definitely hurts more. Also stings a bit afterwards. Lol. I'm such a baby but we gotta do what we gotta do! All for the dream!
Wishing you lots of baby dust & a successful 1st round!! x
This is also my first cycle I am day 5 stims today (5th injection will be tonight). My husband and I decided that we would not tell anyone so I’ve been literally on this site so much as it’s a way to talk to people about what we are going through!!
I don’t find the injections too bad, I also did downreg buserelin so guess I’m used to it now!
Wishing us both a successful first round as I’m not sure I can go through all this again!! 🙈
We decided only to tell close friends and family. But now we have got this far it's really hard not to talk about it! I feel I just want to talk about it all the time!
Only my boss knows at work as will need days off but he has been very good in keeping it quite as didnt want the extra pressure at work.
Hopefully the injections will get easier. I'm not looking forward to egg collection though! But like everyone else will do anything I can for a chance to be a mum!
