Cancel cycle

Hi everyone

I had first scan today after been using bemfola for 4 days but don't respond well this month (only 1 good folicle) so clinic might cancel this cycle. Have anyone come across the same situation?

Sorry to hear that. I’ve been on bemfola too and also not responded great.

Does you clinic have a minimum number they need to see to continue? Can they up your dose? X

Not sure what happening they will ring me to confirm if it needs cancel. I also have fluid in my ovary. I was on menapur on my last cycle (free funded with hns) and its responded quite well. I also have diarrhoea (think it's side affect from medication)

Hi Goyjung. So sorry to hear this, but they may need to drain the fluid before proceeding further. You will still be eligible for the NHS cycle,as you haven't reached egg collection. The diarrhoea could be due to the medication. If it continues speak to your GP or clinic. Diane

Hi Diane,

Unfortunately I have had free funded with NHS but failed IVF due to no embryo left apart from one that been transferred. I am now with private clinic and wondering if I need to pay for medications that has been used so far if my cycle being cancel. Don't want to carry on if I am going to get 1 egg whereas previous cycle had 11 eggs.

Don't know what to expect now. Just need to wait from Clinic what they going to do. Xx

Hi. You need to check with th clinic. i thin you will find that you will still need to pay for any medication used. If you don't get to egg collection, they will probably offer you a part refund. Diane
