Funding for NHS (smoking)

Hello

Today we have been given the forms to apply for nhs funding. When we had our first meeting back in January I told them I hadn’t been smoking which I hadn’t, but the last 3 weeks I’ve started again (Stopped from today) and today we got the call to say we’re able to fill out our forms for funding. I’m wondering how long does it take for the nicotine to get out the system if they do test me?

Don't panic about that. By the time forms are completed and admin done, it will be all gone... 😜 Just no more smoking 🚬

Hi James. Usually around 4 days to be out of your urine, but I have known it to be detected occasionally up to 10 days. Obviously stop smoking and e-cigarettes now and plan for 10 day clearance. Good luck! Diane

They don’t normally test if you’re private but lots of NHS clinics do when it’s NHS funded x

Wow, you’re so lucky to have got 5 rounds funded 😱 I live in an area with zero funding 😭

They don’t all do it but I know some that do. I’ve always been private so I’ve never had to have one but have friends who’ve been tested before starting their NHS funded rounds at the same clinic as me x
