IVF/ICSI cost vs ABC Ivf?

So during this awful lockdown we’re all going through that’s deflated treatment I’ve been doing online groups, watching videos and reading up on ridiculous amounts of things (some helpful and some not so)

I’ve always thought it best to stick with the same clinic as they have all the notes and the background etc etc however as were paying for the treatment ££ is also a factor

I saw a ladies comment on another post about looking at ABC Ivf - so I did and it blew my tiny mind! There must be a catch right? My quote for my latest round of treatment at our clinic (which was cancelled) is £6,858.50 and likely to increase due to changes in meds or further tests etc.

So my question is has anyone used them? I just meet the criteria looking online - max age 37 (I’m nearly 35) BMI max 30 (mine is about 22/23) and lowest AMH marker of 12 (mine is 13.5). Do they care if you’ve had failed rounds at other clinics?? I can’t see anything like that on the website? I’ve signed up for the webinar they are holding next week

People always say if it seems to good to be true it usually is..... xxx

Hi love,

I've been in private clinic also, not the one u are talking about. We paid £7000 for icsi plus £700 for the blood tests and the scans before to start the treatment. To me, it felt so expensive but worth it, I'm 9 weeks pregnant 35 years BMI 26 even though I bad only 6 eggs collected and only 2 made it.

I think all the Clinics are the same but the most important are the staff I think the way they are helpful through all the procedure as it wasn't easy at all xx

Congratulations

The clinic were paying at is also an NHS clinic. Staff are good but there are some issues with admin and contact (not Covid related)

So if I get like we were getting exceptional treatment for that price then I’d feel better about it. All round I just feel it’s “good” x

I think I saw someone else write on here recently that ABC is nurse led rather than consultant which is why it’s cheaper. Not sure if you already know that x

I’ll see if I can find the post and tag you in it x

I’ve tagged you in it but just had a look on their website. It does look like they only have one consultant and the rest are all nurse consultants. I’m sure if you have a consult with them, they will explain exactly how it works xx
