Brown spotting during first trimester

Hi everyone! I need help! I had a miscarriage 10 years ago and was told I’d never have another baby. Just found out that I’m pregnant again!!! I’ve been having brown discharge with little specks in it for about 5 days now. My hCG has gone down a little bit but I’ve started feeling nauseated and I still feel pregnant. Has this happened to anyone and still have a happy result?? I feel like I’m going crazy

Hi, congrats on the pregnancy! Brown spotting is very common and is old blood that comes away from the cervix. I wouldnt worry unless it turns red and coupled with cramps.xx

Hi, what week are you on? Brown spotting can be common but better do a scan for the peace of mind! I had blood discharge around week 6 and 7 and found out to have a subchorionic hematoma. I was put on bed rest for two weeks and it luckily resolved by end of week 8!
