A little bit of background; Trying to conceive for over 2 years no positive test ever. I had my first round of IVF at the start of the year. Didn’t get a fresh transfer because of mild OHSS. Started prepping for a FET and it was cancelled a week before due to COVID. Obviously we were devastated. I had posted on here feeling upset, talking to others about trying to conceive naturally and asking advice for vitamins for sperm count.
In the last few weeks I have enjoyed myself eating what I want, having the odd gin and doing all the household DIY jobs that needed down. Painting and digging the garden.
Fast forward to this week; my period was late or was it because it was my first period after FET medication. Who knew. Every time I think it’s late, it then appears.
So I did a test and for the first time in 2 years it was positive. I saw a positive test.
I am in shock. It doesn’t feel real. Suddenly I have butterflies in my tummy and feel weird.
Miracles can happen!

Congratulations! Such lovely news, I'm really pleased for you... I'm praying for a lockdown miracle as well... We'll see! Your post has given me hope that it's possible! Take care xx
Just over 5 years of trying and 4 failed ivf 2 chemicals and we just got our first ever positive on Tuesday! But now I’m worrying it’s not real or something is going to go wrong! How are you feeling?? Xx
This has just given me so much hope. Like you I have never had a positive test, it makes me so sad and gets me so down. We were due to start IVF when it got cancelled due to COVID.
Congratulations 💕 wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xxx
I know it’s tough and hard but don’t give up hope. My goodness I would never have thought this would happen for me. We had pretty much given up trying to conceive naturally. We only give it a shot because our treatment was cancelled too. And when I say try...I didn’t try to track ovulation.
congratulations that’s great news and really given me hope. Can I ask how low were your husbands parameters if you don’t mind me asking? It has been nearly a year since we started the ICSI process and three negative transfers but my husband is got just above 2 million and recently we got the DNA fragmentation test results and these were very bad too so we kind of given up trying naturally and waiting for the lock down to ease so we can discuss our options again. I really wish you an easy pregnancy 🥰🥰
