Alice and Emma testing

Hello, has anyone had Alice or Emma testing before an IVF cycle? Any additional testing stories would be great to hear!

Hey, I had the ERA/ALICE/EMMA test done but sadly I havent had the chance to test it out yet properly. What it did show though was that I wasnt receptive to transfer until 6 full days of progesterone (144 hours) instead of the usual 5 days (120 hours). My other 2 tests came back clear.xx

Hey! Thanks for the reply! I’m tempted to give them a go for my 4th round. Am I right I’m thinking you do a mock cycle for ERA testing before and actual cycle? X

Yes, so you would take the meds you normally take in prep your lining for an FET.....time your progesterone to start at exactly 5 days (120 hours) before your appointment time and they can ket you know if you are receptive or not. If you are doing a fresh transfer Im not quite sure how this would work though, worth asking the clinic or if you'd have to do a freeze all cycle.xx

Hi, I had the Alice and Emma tests done after our last cycle. Very straightforward, just a light scratch with a crampy feeling. Results were back in about 2 weeks. It was just another test to rule things out for us really, peace of mind. Good luck xx
