Update from hfea

Hi everyone I hope you are all doing as well as you can be during these uncertain times. Many of you have maybe seen this already but I just came across an update from hfea today I know it’s not the best news but for me I feel at least there is a little glimmer of hope. 🙏 I really pray this all ends sooner rather than later. 🤞🏼 Sending you all lots of 💪🏼 and ❤️ during hard times. Thank you for sharing this ❤️x I am struggling without a plan to go forward at the moment after my FET was cancelled x I know it doesn’t give any dates but it is good to know we haven’t been forgotten about xx

Hi Kurstx,

This really lifted my spirits tonight. It may be my perspective when reading but I decided it means they are considering the reintroduction of fertility treatment as a priority. What a relief! I'm not setting a timescale in my head as understand we may still be looking at months but phew 💜

No they mean 15th April. That was the deadline given to clinics to finish patients who were mid cycle by xx

Oh... I thought they had already been closed for a month Which my clinic told me in London. So the closure hasn’t started yet in their minds 🙈 fingers crossed it isn’t too much longer xx

Yes and no! Basically clinics couldn’t start any new cycles, any cycles that were in progress so the patient was already on stims then they could finish those. Although I heard of lots of those being cancelled as well.

Really hope it’s all over soon!xx
