I pushed and I pushed and I finally got my embryo transfer

Against all odds at a time where literally my whole country has shut down we finally got the news that our cancelled ET was back on the table! I was still on meds so was able to do it this morning and I am so happy and terrified at the same time! It is a grade AA 5 day blast and pgs tested so I’m praying for good news in 8 days!! I feel like this little peanut must be lucky and I pray it sticks and shines some light in such a dark time for all of us.

So relieved. I was so sure it was over but I pleaded and pleaded and then tried to take them somewhere else and then I had to sign all these consent forms but I think it was only a couple of situations that were allowed that were near the end. I was a week before my ET and have been taking meds and what have you since December so relieved is an understatement 🙏🏼♥️

It was 9 total from day I did it. It’s a blood test they don’t recommend a hpt

I am 6 days since transfer (Monday). Test date is coming Friday! So, another 5 days. This has felt like the shortest 2ww out of all of them so far. I don't know if I'm tempting fate saying that! I think it's because there's a lot of other stuff going on, so I'm quite distracted.....

Me too transfer was Monday 16th and test day Thursday 4 days..but already a faint line on the frer and I kind of just know.

Nooo. I really want to, but my husband wouldn't be too impressed. I think he sees this as "our" journey (quite rightly) and so gets upset if I decide to poas without his consent, so waiting until test day 27th. I also "know" if you know what I mean..... 😁 DESPERATE to poas!! x

Test day Friday. Had to go in to the office today. First day since transfer! Made me nervous just from touching things and other people being there. Damn coronavirus!

wear one use gloves, thats what i do when i go anywhere. Then remove before you get in car, sanatize hands and then when you get home wash for 30 seconds!

Thanks. I've been washing my hands all the time and I have disinfected all equipment I brought back! Need to do the car steering wheel etc. at some point or just not go out for a while! I have no need to go out now!

What are your plans for the 2ww?

We are on strict lockdown and I have a 2 ½ year old that is experiencing some level of frustration so it’s ups and downs in this house!!! We paint and walk around the block with our dog 🐕 and sleep and eat and cook and read books and watch peppa pig and pray this embie sticks and my son gets a sibling to play with

Trying not to think about it. Thank god I have my 2 ½ year old who keeps me plenty busy other than that we are isolated since 9/3 so not much to do but dream and pray my bean is ok. How r y feeling?

Yeah good distraction! 💕 I’m also isolating and have been since about the same time, it’s becoming weirdly normal now! Feeling much much better, sickness has lifted now and starting to get a bit more energy back! Not that I have anywhere to use it right now 😂 xx

No news my end unfortunately. All flights from scotland to Athens are cancelled until the beginning of May and even then I cant see those going ahead either. Will just have to be a bit more patient!xx

Hello I’m from Australia but a reader member on this board. Hope it went well! Do you know I also had my 5 day embryo transfer a week ago and I’ve got a faint line. I’ve waited 14 years and had 4 years of solid month to month back to back IVF treatment. I tested positive on the frer

My boyfriend left me just before the transfer day by completely ignoring me. The first time he left me was by text message. All because of TTC stress. I prayed so hard I would come out as a single victorious this time and I actually did. It’s early days, I had some cramping and gastric changes oh and a bleed on the 6th day after transfer, some tiny bouts of nausea, but other than that nothing.
