Antibodies in blood. Please help.

I had my 1st midwife appointment a few days ago. Today I was contacted by the midwife to say I have antibodies in my blood and I need to have more blood taken to be sent away for further investigations. I'm now panicking and google isn't throwing much up. I had all the disease and std checks before treatment so I know it's not that. Has anyone had anything similar.

Hey, sorry to hear that your stressing out! Can you call the midwife back and ask her to explain to you as you are really worried? The only thing I can think of is that they may be checking to see if you need anti D injections?xx

I called her backa and she said all she has been told is that they require further testing. I read about rhesus bloods but I feel like it wouldn't need further investigation if it was that x

Ahhh I see, I would have thought she would have been able to settle your mind but clearly not! Hopefully you'll find out for sure soon.xx
