8days past 5dt and going crazy

Hi, yesterday I saw a bit of bright red blood when I wiped after going to the toilet, a few brown spots after but nothing since then. It can't be implantation as it's 7 days past a 5dt can it??? I've got sore boobs which I've had for the week now and cramps today like I'm about to start my period. My test day is not until Saturday. (14days after the 5dt). This is my 3rd ivf. First one I started my period the day before test day even though I was on progesterone. The second FET I felt great the whole way and thought it had worked. This time I'm just confused. Could the blood be a start of my period? Shall I request to go in early for a blood test? I'm too scared to POAS in case it's negative. We've gone private this time and I've taken time off work to be relaxed. This 2ww is crazy.

Hi Snow. So sorry to hear that you are struggling this time round. Perhaps the blood could be from some irritation of your cervix if you have been prescribed pessaries. You could switch to inserting them in your back passage, to give the "front" a rest for a bit. Fingers crossed all turns out well for you. Diane

Thanks Diane, I did ask the doctor but she said she prefers I use them vaginally. I've just had more spotting today but this was light brown it's stopped again. I contacted the doctor and she said to go in tomorrow and she will check my progesterone levels. It will be 9dp5dt.. Not sure if that's too soon for an hcg test but will ask.

Hi. It's good that the blood is now brown, so that shows it's old blood. It shouldn't be too early to test, but see what your doctor advises. Good luck! Diane
