We have been trying to conceive naturally for 2 years naturally . I am a spouse of a British citizen and currently residing in Scotland with my husband under a study visa after spouse visa refusal due to not being able to meet financial requirements. As a non-EU Spouse I am not eligible for NHS IVF rounds and have to self-fund. Unfortunately, we do not have the financial resources to fund the IVF ourselves and really want to have our first child. Are there any IVF charities/funds that would assist?
Any advice is appreciated

Hi SugarBear. Unfortunately, there are no charities that can help out with the costs of fertility treatment. However, if you are under 35 you could possibly offer yourself into an egg sharing scheme, in exchange for reduced costs or in some case even free treatment. Have a look at hfea.gov.uk and search for clinics that can offer "egg sharing". Diane
Thanks for the response. Egg sharing, sharing my dna? Sounds frightening hehe. I will look into it though. I have recently discovered fertilityfoundation.org a national charity providing ivf grants £65 non refundable application.
No you have to self fund and your in a very difficult position if you are only on a student visa and if you apply for any grants etc your partner will have to do it as you won’t be elegible if your not British
