Last Friday I went for my scan, they said all was OK and i could begin with my injections. I started Saturday for 10 days, then this Thursday i start my morning injection for 5 days....I have my next scan next Monday (2nd), and then providing my body is ready, my egg collection can be as early as next Wednesday! Eeeeeek! So exciting, but nervous at the same time.
Also, for anyone at similar points and getting their drugs etc but very scared, i was extremely scared...I never thought i would be able to do the injection. The first one my partner did for me, and I watched whilst he mixed it all up together. The second one, I did myself under his guidance. Its been so nice doing it together. Makes you feel even closer than youve ever felt before. It has been so nice. Especially as it was such a scary step for me.
I wish everyone all the luck in the world on the own little journeys. Fingers crossed everything works out and the egg collection can go ahead a week on Wednesday! Wow, that sounds so soon!!!
Thanks

It's all so exciting isnt it. My dates and meds look like they were the same as yours but at the end of jan. I had embryo transfer last Monday so I'm the agonising 2ww.
Hope all goes well for you and you get some good sized follicles. Drink plenty of water xx
Oh wow! I have literally everything crossed for you. I really hope it all works out and you get your little miracle. I am hoping it all works out for us too, if it doesnt, we will stay strong and continue to try again. Good luck, and i wish you all the best. xx
Thank you. I am already trying to drink lots of water, but I will try even more xx
Good luck! I’m just a week ahead of you. I’ve been for a 10 day scan this morning (since starting the stims). My egg retrieval is looking likely for Friday.
It really is amazing what the drugs can do to your body- and how used to the injections you can get. Agree, it’s a nice thing to do together if you can. We are using donor sperm so my other half sits with me while I inject and it helps him feel more connected to the process. Keeping everything crossed for you xx 🤞🏻
Hi Beaver. Yes, you certainly are going to busy now! Just wanted to wish you well with the rest of your treatment cycle and for a positive result. Diane
Thank you so much Its lovely to have the words of support from people who have been through it or going through it. It really is amazing. I feel very lucky to have the chance to go through the IVF and hopefully all will work out for us. x
