Hey everyone

Has anyone ever had a HSG done and had any good outcomes or results from it?

I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2008 and was told I had lost my right tune and my left was blocked

After my painful HSG experience yesterday the doctor tells me he has un locked my Right tube that I got told wasn’t there and my left one was the ectopic?

What am I meant to think now??

Personally, I had an ectopic and lost a tube. After a few months, I did a HSG and the other tube looked good. I had no pain or other issues, but did not get pregnant naturally. I did IVF.

I have friends who had pain from the HSG either from the tube(s) becoming unlocked or if they had some urinary tract infections.

I also know someone that was told she had the tubes blocked, did IVF (and had a baby) to then get pregnant naturally.
