Just had my follow up scan on day 8 of sims. I have 6 follicles on the right between 18mm-10mm and 3 on the left between 13mm-10mm. This sounds good to me is it?
Having our final scan on Friday morning to hopefully have egg collection on Monday. Very excited 😀
Hi, the clinic will be looking for follicles ideally around 17-18mm so you will probably find that some our out of this range. I usually go on the halving theory, i.e. if you get 10 follicles (regardless of size), you might have half the amount of 'good' eggs collected, if you get 5 good eggs you might get 2/3 fertilised to put back. The ones already at 18 are still being stimulated so they may become overmature, they grow around 1-2mm per day. I would not expect an fertilised egg from each follicle.
