Any advice for fertility show.

So I've got to tickets for the fertility show. My friend said she went two years ago and came back feeling awful. She said it just felt like sales reps being insensitive and trying sell he things she doesn't need. She said very few clinics sent their consultants. Is this experience shared by others? I'm feeling very apprehensive about attending now. I'm looking for new clinic for ERT testing and donor eggs.

This is something hard to suggest really. Yes, I guess the picture your friend has created of these events is somewhat true if not wholely. No fair or anything in the similar line goes without the intention to pitch prospective clients. And just like you see in trade fair or expo it's definitely similar. However, it also depends on personal perspective. It's not necessary that just because her experience was worse yours is going to be the same. Usually, if there are free counselling that's even better. When you get to know new things or meet to women who can really understand your situation as they are on the same boat it can also bring a sense of support you see. Quite the same as you feel being on the forums and sharing it all. I would personally visit it and judge for myself rather than just bestowing on someone's else experience. If it doesn't go well you can always leave in a few minutes and spare yourself the heartbreak.

Hiya x we went a few years or so ago. There were some points where it felt a bit like a sales pitch but lots of useful info too, interesting seminars and cool talks. We got to the point at the end of the day where if we weren't interested in a stall or if someone came across too sales or pushy we would just smile say thanks and walk away which people seemed to get. xx
